Jersey Shore Women in Tech is looking for support from those who believe in and align with the mission of mentoring, educating, and acceleration women. In order to continue to support the growth of our community and welcome all who are interested, no matter what stage of their career, we are committed to keeping our monthly events free to the public. We also provide paid classes and workshops throughout the year for women to increase their skill set and marketability by hiring experts to teach these skills. To be able to do all of this, we rely on sponsorships to support these events and our group.

 

Our Goals:

  • Continue to nurture the local community of women interested in technology by providing free monthly networking, educational, and inspirational meetings and events

  • Help women build relationships that provide mutual support to achieve professional and personal goals

  • Encourage and support women in technology to take their careers to the next level and break the glass ceiling

  • Offer a safe and supportive environment for women to discuss and problem-solve the obstacles faced as women in tech

  • Increase the number of young women and girls pursuing careers in technology

  • Help support women transitioning into tech from other careers

  • Encourage women to attend other tech events in the tri-state area and therefore diversify and grow the local tech community as a whole

  • Connect mentors with women in technology who need mentors

  • Provide paid courses, workshops, and bootcamps for women to enhance their skills and marketability

  • Encourage and inspire men to be advocates of women in technology

  • Live Shoutout - We recite a blurb about your company at the beginning of every event or you may have a representative speak for 3 minutes at any monthly event throughout the 12 months. This can include job postings.

  • Monthly Newsletter Shoutouts and Job Postings - We will give your company a shoutout on our event followup newsletter and list any job openings you have with links to apply. * You may also list an upcoming event, link to a blog, or a promotional blurb.

  • Event Promotion Materials - We will put your logo on all promotional and marketing materials leading up to all of our events, including on social media.

​

  • Your Promo Materials - You may place your promotional materials on our check-in table.

​

  • Thank You Shoutout - We will give your company a “Thank you” shoutout on our social media post recapping the event.
